help newbie trying to find secluded getaway for honeymoon! (01/30/2012)
My wife and I recently went to Sandals Antigua, that was lovely... would have been a very nice honeymoon destination in my mind. No kids, good food and wine, its all inclusive but with branded drinks. We decided we would go back for our tenth wedding anniversary and I am already counting the years till then!.

Why do visitors travel to Jamaica? (01/17/2012)
Jamaica is great if you go to a all inclusive resort, otherwise is a very unsafe place...

Crazy activities in Jamaica! (01/11/2012)

Places I would never go in the Caribbean (11/29/2011)
Hmmm...thats an interesting question... I would avoid Kingston Jamaica and anywhere in Honduras except Roatan...Belize City is ok..but I would move on to San Pedro...much preferred San Pedro in Belize... I would also be careful of parts of Mexico...stick to Cozumel and the southern regions... My 2 cents.

Cuba in July (10/18/2011)
Thinking of cheap Cuba Holidays? Excellent, this is one island in the Caribbean where you will want to do more than just a beach holiday. The people are bright, self-assertive and handsome. Their cultural heritage is colourful, as are the monuments of their often tumultuous, always fascinating history. A Cuban Holiday is without a doubt one to consider. These are just some of the facts to consider and places and things you should not miss in your holidays to Cuba. Cayo Largo: This major beach ...

Caribbean with Kids (10/10/2011)
Families love Caribbean vacations, mainly for the beach resorts which typically offer water sports, extravagant pools, family activities, kids clubs, evening entertainment, fine dining, spa, and --often-- all inclusive pricing. Caribbean has many wonderful kid-friendly resorts and hot spots. Some of the places to take kids for vacation are: 1. Jamaica 2. St. Lucia 3. The Bahamas 4. Grand Cayman 5. Dominican Republic 6. Cuba 7. Aruba.

Best island of the Caribbean? (10/07/2011)
[quote:7467411398="lkcuba"]I totally agree with Jochen, Cuba is number one in Caribbean. It is home to exceptionally friendly people, salsa music, tropical climate, exotic flora, and exciting nightlife. Has more than 300 natural beaches of fine white sand and crystal clear waters. Also waterfalls and cascades in beautiful rivers keep charming nature lovers. enjoy your trip!!![/quote:7467411398] More about the nightlife please? :-).

First Caribbean trip booked :) (09/24/2011)
Wow - those pics look amazing. I have never been to that part of the BVI's - been to Tortola and that was beautiful though. Really makes me want a nice rum and coke on the beach.... sigh....

Treasure Beach : where to go? (09/23/2011)
Hello, Now I only have one day left, and I decided to go to Treasure Beach. Taxi driver I hired was very skeptical about this decision. He kept telling me there was 'nothing' and told me why would I want to go there instead of places like Ochio Rios. But I heard good enough things about it here, and after visiting Negril and Nine Mile, I really felt like I need to go somewhere where locals are just that, locals, not people who try to sell ...

Bermuda photos (09/23/2011)
@discmanserbia St. George is very small but quaint and beautiful-- Tabacco Bay is close by, as well as St. Catherine's Fort. Both great spots. Hamilton is the main city where you can hear some music out, get a great meal and be out on the town..

What is the best Caribbean island for a romantic and relaxin (09/22/2011)
Do you want luxury or something a little different? If the latter, Maho Bay on St. John is the place! It's so eco friendly, rustic yet comfortable and extremely romantic!.

Adults Only (09/19/2011)
The two new Secrets resorts are meant to be amazing - St James and Wild Orchid - both located at Montego Bay. A friend of mine had her honeymoon at St James and spoke very highly of its AI package, also I'm almost 100% sure you can eat at any of the restaurants across the two resorts..

Day Trips from Negril Jamaica (08/15/2011)
If you are going to be in Negril and you do not want to venture too far then you should check out Rick's Cafe (make sure to take in the sunset there, it is gorgeous). You could also go and check out the Negril Lighthouse (another place known for spectacular views and sunsets). If you are looking to have some fun getting wet, there is always the Kool Runnings Water Park. Are you going to be staying on the seven mile beach? You can also go for a jog or stroll there. Places on the strip that you ...

anyone on here been to Jamaica (08/14/2011)
Many people who visit Jamaica opt for the beach and water experience. While there is nothing wrong with that route, there is so much more depth to Jamaica. There are many interesting historical attractions in Jamaica and many fun outdoor activities to do. You can tour former plantations, go horse back riding, do a Bob Marley Tour, go zipping through canopies, river rafting, the list of fun things go on and on. The most critical thing about going to Jamaica is to plan. Do not show up there and ...

video map Barbados (08/09/2011)
Nick... I can't quite believe you posted the link again with that reply... not very clever!!! It's not about whether it's a good resource, or about how many hours you spent putting it together. (FWIW, it's also a commercial venture on your part since it carries advertising, even if you provide the information for free.) It's about adhering to the board rules. Just play by the rules, and you'll get along fine... don't, and you'll end up getting yourself banned..
